Lifting, moving, and precise positioning of heavy and bulky structural elements of airport facilities
Alysandratos LTD played a decisive role in the construction of Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", one of the largest and most technically demanding infrastructure projects implemented in Greece during the period 1996-2001. As part of the project, the company was the main contractor for HOCHTIEF AG for special lifting work, carrying out critical interventions involving the lifting, moving and precisely positioning heavy and bulky structural elements of the airport facilities. These works were a fundamental and integral part of the construction process, as they concerned elements of key importance for the static and functional completion of the project and had to be carried out with absolute precision, to strict schedules and under conditions of zero tolerance for errors. The successful implementation of the specialized lifting operations by Alysandratos LTD contributed significantly to the timely completion of the airport and demonstrated the company's high technical competence, reliability, and operational capacity in international projects, making this project a benchmark for the company's future progress and recognition.
